    Tip #1. Don’t post rehashed or poor quality content – I couldn’t agree more, the internet is already polluted with uninteresting content and messages. Something like a well written white paper is worth posting online and making available for download.

    Tip #2. Keep it short, sweet, simple and to the point. Your post and “freebie” shouldn’t be the next War and Peace – this is excellent advice as you want to tease users enough to opt in and view your website and information on their own free will.

    Be careful to follow scribd.com guidelines. Use quality information but do not solicit there at all. They will delete and ban you for life! I had written several e-books with a sales page on the last page. YIKES, you would have thought I murdered someone.

    I have been on all three of these sites, they are very useful for both online marketers and other people as well. A few months ago, I had to work on a report for one of my marketing classes, after doing some clicks and searches, I found enough info both on Slidshare and Scribd.
    Anyone can use these sites, they come very handy. Furthermore, they come very handy as a marketing tactic for marketers and entrepreneurs to provide great info on a particular subject, then refer everyone who visited and read your document back to your website…AWESOME!!!

  • Good points raised here. Thank you for that, but I have further thanks to deliver. I am color blind (tritanopia in my case). I mostly use Opera browser (unsure if that is of any importance), and several websites are challenging to comprehend on account of an unfortunate selection of colours employed ithe design. Here, as the range of colours is fine, the design is quite clear and easy to understand. I am not sure whether this was a planned and kind deed, or simply a lucky fluke, but you have my gratitude.
